How to choose custom flag football uniforms
Flag football is one of the fastest-growing high school sports, led by girls’ programs. Most teams order a game jersey and shorts, then add training and travel wear. Here is what to decide before you request a quote for custom flag football uniforms.
Uniform style
Choose a uniform set or a fitted compression uniform, or order jerseys on their own: performance, athletic, compression, sleeveless, long sleeve or hooded.
Fit around the flags
Many leagues require jerseys to be tucked in or fitted so they don’t cover the flag belt. A compression or fitted jersey keeps the flags clear, paired with athletic shorts, compression shorts or 7v7 compression shorts.
Fabric and decoration for flag football uniforms
Jerseys and shorts use lightweight, stretch, moisture-wicking polyester. Uniforms and performance wear are dye-sublimated, so colors, names and numbers are dyed into the fabric and won’t crack, peel or fade. Hoodies and sweatshirts come in polyester fleece (220 or 300 GSM) or 80/20 cotton-poly fleece (250, 300 or 400 GSM), and can be sublimated, screen printed, embroidered or finished in tackle twill. Socks are knit-in, and bags can be sublimated.
Names, numbers and league rules
Add player names, numbers and your logo. High school teams should check uniform rules with their state association or the NFHS flag football rules.
Training and travel
A track jacket, quarter-zip pullover and visor complete the team look.
When to order
Most custom flag football uniform orders are delivered in 2–3 weeks from your deposit, with manufacturing and shipping both included. Timing can vary with the order type and quantity, so order at least 3–4 weeks before your first game and tell us the date. We’ll confirm delivery before you pay a deposit. Sizes run from youth XS to adult 3XL in one order.
