How to choose custom basketball uniforms
Most programs order a game uniform plus shooting shirts and warm-ups. Here is what to decide before you request a quote for custom basketball uniforms.
Uniform style
Choose a round-neck or V-neck uniform, or a reversible uniform that gives you home and away colors in one set, popular with clubs, camps and practice squads. Jerseys can also be ordered on their own, including reversible jerseys.
Shorts
Performance shorts are cut long and roomy with a wide waistband. Add compression shorts or arm sleeves in matching colors.
Fabric and decoration for basketball uniforms
Jerseys and shorts use breathable, moisture-wicking polyester, with mesh panels for airflow. Uniforms and performance wear are dye-sublimated, so colors, names and numbers are dyed into the fabric and won’t crack, peel or fade. Hoodies and sweatshirts come in polyester fleece (220 or 300 GSM) or 80/20 cotton-poly fleece (250, 300 or 400 GSM), and can be sublimated, screen printed, embroidered or finished in tackle twill. Socks are knit-in, and bags can be sublimated.
Names, numbers and league rules
Add player names, numbers and your logo to every jersey; reversible uniforms can carry numbers on both sides. High school teams should check numbering and color rules with their state association or the NFHS basketball resources.
Warm-ups and bench gear
Shooting shirts, tear-away warm-up pants and shooting jackets complete the bench look in the same design.
When to order
Most custom basketball uniform orders are delivered in 2–3 weeks from your deposit, with manufacturing and shipping both included. Timing can vary with the order type and quantity, so order at least 3–4 weeks before your first game and tell us the date. We’ll confirm delivery before you pay a deposit. Sizes run from youth XS to adult 3XL in one order.
