How to choose custom rugby uniforms
Most clubs order match jerseys and shorts, then add training and travel wear. Here is what to decide before you request a quote for custom rugby uniforms.
Jersey style
Choose a round neck or V-neck jersey, or a traditional collared jersey with a button collar or 2-button collar. A uniform set matches jersey and shorts in one order. Choose a close, stretch fit that is harder to grab, or a looser traditional fit.
Shorts
Classic rugby shorts, striped band shorts and two-tone shorts are all available, with compression shorts to wear underneath.
Fabric and decoration for rugby uniforms
Match jerseys use tough, stretch polyester made for rucks and tackles. Uniforms and performance wear are dye-sublimated, so colors, names and numbers are dyed into the fabric and won’t crack, peel or fade. Hoodies and sweatshirts come in polyester fleece (220 or 300 GSM) or 80/20 cotton-poly fleece (250, 300 or 400 GSM), and can be sublimated, screen printed, embroidered or finished in tackle twill. Socks are knit-in, and bags can be sublimated.
Names, numbers and match rules
Add numbers, player names and your club crest. Kit and numbering rules come from World Rugby’s Laws of the Game and your union or league.
Training and travel
A rain jacket, track jacket and polo shirt keep the squad matching on and off the pitch.
When to order
Most custom rugby uniform orders are delivered in 2–3 weeks from your deposit, with manufacturing and shipping both included. Timing can vary with the order type and quantity, so order at least 3–4 weeks before your first match and tell us the date. We’ll confirm delivery before you pay a deposit. Sizes run from youth XS to adult 3XL in one order.
