How to choose custom football uniforms
Most programs order home and away game uniforms, practice jerseys and gear worn under the pads. Here is what to decide before you request a quote for custom football uniforms.
Uniform style
Choose a uniform set, a professional-style home uniform with a matching away uniform, or an alternate uniform for special games. Practice jerseys take the wear of daily practice.
Fit over pads
Game jerseys are cut to fit over shoulder pads. Send your players’ sizes and we’ll recommend jersey sizes, and add compression shirts and padded compression shorts for under the pads.
Fabric and decoration for football uniforms
Game jerseys use durable, stretch polyester with mesh for airflow. Uniforms and performance wear are dye-sublimated, so colors, names and numbers are dyed into the fabric and won’t crack, peel or fade. Hoodies and sweatshirts come in polyester fleece (220 or 300 GSM) or 80/20 cotton-poly fleece (250, 300 or 400 GSM), and can be sublimated, screen printed, embroidered or finished in tackle twill. Socks are knit-in, and bags can be sublimated.
Names, numbers and league rules
Add numbers on the front, back and sleeves, plus player names and your logo. High school teams should check numbering and color rules with their state association or the NFHS football resources.

Varsity jackets, windbreakers and hoodies can match your game uniform.
When to order
Most custom football uniform orders are delivered in 2–3 weeks from your deposit, with manufacturing and shipping both included. Timing can vary with the order type and quantity, so order at least 3–4 weeks before your first game and tell us the date. We’ll confirm delivery before you pay a deposit. Sizes run from youth XS to adult 3XL in one order.
