The best time to order custom team uniforms is 6 to 8 weeks before you need them. Production and shipping take 2–3 weeks from your deposit, but collecting sizes, approving a design and getting budget sign-off usually take longer than the manufacturing itself. This guide shows when to start for each school sports season and what to do in each week.
How long do custom uniforms take?
At Hameen Sports, most orders are delivered within 2–3 weeks of your deposit payment, manufacturing and shipping included. Before that clock starts, you need to:
- Send your logo, colors and the products you need
- Review the digital mockup and ask for changes (revisions are free)
- Collect player sizes, names and numbers
- Approve the final design and pay the deposit
Most teams finish these steps in 1–3 weeks. Add a week of buffer for holidays, late sizes or a second round of changes, and you get the 6–8 week rule.
Team uniform ordering timeline by season
| Season | Sports (typical US high school) | Start your order by |
|---|---|---|
| Fall | Football, volleyball, soccer, flag football (some states) | Late May to June |
| Winter | Basketball, wrestling, ice hockey | September to early October |
| Spring | Baseball, softball, lacrosse, boys volleyball, rugby, flag football (some states) | December to January |
| Summer and club | Travel baseball and softball, 7v7, AAU basketball, club volleyball | 6–8 weeks before your first tournament |
Season dates vary by state and league, so count back from your first game or tournament, not from the calendar.

Send your logo, colors and product list. We reply within 24 hours with pricing and a digital mockup.
6 weeks out: approve the design and collect sizes
Share the mockup with coaches and parents, then collect sizes, names and numbers in one sheet. Our team uniform sizing guide explains how to do it without mistakes.
5 weeks out: confirm and pay the deposit
Check the final size list against the roster, approve the mockup and pay the deposit. Production starts now.
2–3 weeks later: delivered
Your order is made, checked and shipped with tracking. That leaves you a buffer of two weeks or more before the first game.
Need uniforms sooner?
If your season starts in less than six weeks, contact us before you finalize the design. Simple designs, quick approvals and a complete size list help us deliver within the standard 2–3 weeks from deposit. Talk to us on WhatsApp or contact us with your date.
Plan reorders too
New players join mid-season and jerseys get lost. Order a few spare sizes with your main order, and when you need more, reorder the same approved design. Repeat orders of the same style are priced lower.
